Mr. Shripad. S. Gangavati has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering(Hons)

Securing 4th Rank in Karnataka University Dharwad. He has attended advance management programme at Cambridge (UK) and he has also attended Executive Development Programme in I.I.M Ahmedabad.

Mr. Gangavati has worked with Walchandnagar Industries for 52 years in an various senior positions such as Chief Engineering, Chief international Division, head of marketing and projects.

Mr. Gangavati is the former chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and currently Vice President of (Maharashtra) Deccan Sugar Technologist Association. Mr. Gangavati is the member of various Sugar Associations. He has received various awards and has published more than 17 technical papers. He has the vast experience in various fields.

Mr. Gangavati was awarded life time achievement award by STA and DSTA

Mr. Gangavati was appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board from 79th Annual General Meeting held on 14th August 2019.
